Pi, Rock, Lomax and Aslan live in our home and Sluggo and Scirocco live three houses down, in our neighbor's home.

Pi is our genetically all black, plush female out of our Kila and Scirocco litter. Pi has a great, positive energy about her and zest for life.  She has a sense of humor and is super affectionate.  Pi will sit and wait patiently for pets for as long as it takes.  Her goal in life is for you be be pleased with her and love on her.  She loves playing Monkey-in-the-Middle, where she will chase the ball forever as you throw it back and forth.  She just loves the act of chasing down the ball with you and she freely gives it back when you miss it, so that the game can continue.

Duchess is our super smart and athletic girl out of Pandora and Lomax.  Duchess lives with her family in Portland, Oregon.  We were honored to be able to co-own a litter with Duchess and Rock (see below), so that her wonderful genetics can continue in our breeding program.  Duchess is very intuituve and intelligent and can figure out what you want in an instant.  Duchess is a plush coated sable, with excellent structure and size.  Her size comes down from Sluggo, who you can see towards the bottom of this page.

Rock is also our genetically all black, plush male out of our Kila and Scirocco litter.  Rock is a big, bold boy who is always happy and his face always smiles.  He stands proud and tall and I feel incredibly safe with Rock around as his shear presence can intimidate.  Rock is protection without the liability!  Rock loves to climb on my lap in the home theater room, stretching his big long body the entire length of the chair.  He and Pi take turns as to who gets to cuddle  during TV binge nights.

Pandora is a 28 inch female out of our Skyrocket and Sluggo litter.  Pandora belongs to Huck, with Enlighten Shilohs.  Pandora is a beautifully put together smooth coated, brown sable.  She is a very sweet and gentle girl who loves her pack.  You can see Sluggo towards the bottom of this page.  Pandora received Sluggo's nice size and temperament.  Pandora produced Duchess and Karma, two beautiful Shilohs.  Stay tuend for a future litter out of Karma and Rock.

Lomax is out of IHOSS' Ruffy/Vino litter and is an incredibly laid back boy who loves to get belly rubs and thinks he will forever be your lap dog.  Lomax is one of those dogs that you can't stop petting and hugging, he just invites it on himself.  When people come by to visit, Lomax is one of their favorites as he is so endearing.  He tries to make himself smaller by lowering himself to the ground, so as to encourage pets.  Lomax is 31 inches at the withers and has wonderfully, fantastic bone and size.  Lomax is a goofy and funny dog.  Click here to see Lomax and the Green Tomato.

Aslan is our out of the box Shiloh, meaning he is the easiest to teach.  He came to us from Dayspring Dogs in Tennessee and we could not be happier with him.  He has a very sweet and curious nature.  He enjoys people and other dogs and always has a smile on his face.  Nothing seems to phase Aslan and he is ready for the next adventure.  Aslan is 30.5 inches and weighs 115 pounds. 

 Aslan won Best in Show Rare Breed last year. 

Aslan and I are posing with Aiden, Aslan and Asia's eight month old pup, who won the Grand Sieger at the International All Breed Canine show in April, 2011.  It was Aiden's very first show.

 Sluggo is an extra large, sweet and loving boy (lives with a neighbor).  He came from Dayspring Dogs and is a big, loveable bear. He has excellent structure and wonderfully broad, oval bone.  In addition to his wonderful broadness and bone, he also has excellent leg.  Sluggo is over 33 inches at the wither and will top out at 130 pounds.  Sluggo is a laid back boy with a nice and pleasing temperament. 

Scirocco is an incredibly laid back, confident and handsome bi, black and cream colored boy.  (lives with a neighbor).  Scirocco came to us from Epic Shilohs in Canada and is out of Story/Nero.  He loves people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs.  He can chill in a busy mall if he is not getting attention and can jump to for pets when small children come by to hug on him. 



Solace Shilohs has always kept females from our own breeding program as we believe that good and loving dams raise the same in their puppies.  We liken the first 8 weeks of a puppy's life to that of a five year old.  This developmental time period forms the basis for a good, healthy, functional living being.  We select compatible studs for our breeding program based on good genetics for health, temperament and conformation.
